The Georgia Bailey Behind the Paintings.

Confession: I never planned on becoming a painter.

I picked up a paintbrush in the first COVID lockdown (after failing miserably at making banana bread) and thought 'lol this could be fun'.

I'm a Welsh gal in Australia balancing life as a full time doctor in emergency with a side hustle that got out of hand (in the best way possible!). Painting is a chaotic antidote to medicine. In the hospital, tiny details can be life-or-death but behind an easel... tiny details just mean the monkey's eyebrow is 2mm sassier.

I don't take myself too seriously, and I don't think my art should either. It's colourful, bold, and slightly chaotic... which if you know me, makes perfect sense. It's personality on canvas, cheeky monkeys who look like they're about to roast you, turtles with main character energy and details that I obsess over for way too long.
